TED is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world.
TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events. These events are organized by passionate individuals who seek to uncover new ideas and to share the latest research in their local areas that spark conversations in their communities. TEDx events include live speakers and recorded TED Talks, and are organized independently under a free license granted by TED.

First event :
Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted TedxSIST talks with a theme of "Merging Minds - A league of Castaways" on 2nd December, 2022. Distinguished speakers and inspiring personalities delivered talks. The management extended best wishes to the success of this event.
Second Event :
TEDX club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted an orientation session on 20th October, 2022 at 10.00 A.M. in the Central Library, Presentation Hall. Around 100 registered participants attended this interactive session delivered by Mr.Mir Abbas Raja and Ms.Sindhiya , Alumni of the institution.
