Objectives:
1. To kindle the interest of students towards short film making
2. To encourage and conduct events related to CREATIVE content
Activities:
Media club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted "Drone Workshop'' on 13.03.2024. Mr.Yuvaraj, Faculty of Viscom Department, CEO of YR Media Pvt.Ltd and DGCA approved drone pilot educated student participants about the mechanism of drones in this workshop.
Media club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted "Basics of Social Media Marketing'' workshop on 21.03.2023. Mr.Tamilanda Ramesh shared the methods of promoting ;the video content in social media, and student participants were enlightened with the information provided in this workshop.
Media club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted "Reduce and Recycle" - An Awareness program related to reducing pollution. In this program, the participants were enlightened with the means of using photography to create awareness among the public towards curbing the pollution. A rangoli competition was also conducted related to the theme of reducing pollution.
Media club in association with Department of Viscom of Sathyabama Institute of Science Technology has organized an interactive mentoring session on "Shortfilm making techniques" on 22nd June, 2022 in Dr.Remibai Jeppiaar Auditorium. Mr.S.Kalyan, renowned film director graced this occasion and responded to all the inquisitive queries of the student participants.
