Leadtalks 2023 was conducted during 10th July, 2023 to 14th July, 2023. This year leadtalks presenters are Ms.Srinidhi Srinivasan, Mr.Sagar Kumar, Ms.Sarithra, Ms.Krishitha Aravind, Ms.Jayameena, Ms.Ranjini, Ms.Harasiddhi, Ms.Cauviya Sri, Mr.Aryan Dave, Mr.V.Ranjith , who delivered sessions on various topics such as "Art of Conversation", "Greatness of Indian Army", "Intersection of Computer Science and Biotechnology", "Empowering Dreams" and others.
Lead Talks 2018-19 was conducted by Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology on 27th March, 2019. Mr.RUSHWANT ,II year, Mechanical Engineering spoke on “ Infinite theory to a butterfly effect”,Mr. PARTHIV MANEPALLI , II year Mechanical Engineering spoke on “ Elon Musk- mission to mars , Mr.TEJA KUMMARIKUNTLA , II year, CSE spoke on " QUOTE THE QUOTE" and Mr. T YASWANTH SRISAI CHARAN , III year, ECE spoke on “ 5G TECHNOLOGY”. The sessions were interactive and many students participated with enthusiasm.
Lead Talks 2018-19 was conducted on 25th March, 2019. Mr. S.KRISHNA RAJ , III year, Automobile spoke on " AI is it good or do we really have any choice? " and Mr. V. HARIPRASATH , III year, Automoible spoke on " Space-The Final Frontier ". The sessions were informative and students interaction was inquisitive.
Our SATHYABAMA has always encouraged young minds with ignited thoughts. As per the words of our Founder chancellor "Learn today and Lead Tomorrow ", SDC announced the LEAD TALK and got an overwhelming response from the students. The "Leadtalks" for the odd semester 2017-2018 started on 21st August 2017.
LEAD TALKS - 2018
Lead Talks 2018 was conducted in the Smart Classroom on 18th September, 2018. Mr.M RUSHWANT GNANASEKAR, II year, Mechanical Engineering spoke on "Geared up for the future " and Mr. VISHNU BHARADWAJ, III year, CSE spoke on " Thriving in an increasingly distracted world ".
Ms.Shivani Mangaleswaran of III CSE delivered an interesting and informative talk on "Internet of Things and Automation". She simply and elegantly explained the elements of IoT-Microcomputers, Sensors, Internet and coding with lot of real-time examples
Mr.Shiva Sujan of II CSE delivered an interesting and motivating talk about "Negligence" under Leadtalks on 22nd August 2017. He explained how negligence leads to jealousy, ego and failure. He narrated events and steps to success in a coherent sequence that made the audience interesting to listen.
On 24th August 2017, under the Leadtalks series, Mr.Bhaskar Choudhary of II CSE delivered a wonderful talk on "Mysteries of the World". The students were mesmerized by his talk and were impressed about the real life incidents, he quoted during his session.
Ms.Aparna Narayan of II B.Tech (Bio-Tech) gave good briefing about the 'God Particle' on 28th August 2017. She explained about the importance of Higgs Boson. She interestingly quoted that the truth- that existence of particles without mass was made as myth when CERN officially announced the confirmation of the presence of Higgs Boson in 2013.
On 8th September 2017, Mr. Mir Abbas Raza of II year Bio-Tech delivered a wonderful talk on "Feminism". He talked about the History of Feminism and how it has been changed in the modern era. The talk was interactive and the audience were impressed by the content delivered by him
On 13th February 2017, Mr.Sai Srinath (III CSE) delivered a talk on "Lucid Dreaming" under the category "LEAD TALK". The talk was interesting and enjoyable.
On 14th February, 2017, Mr. Prateek Srivastava (III year EEE) delivered a talk on "Science behind the movie-Interstellar". The speaker captured the attention of the audience by giving an excellent explanation about Theory of relativity by using the movie's theme.
On 15th February, 2017, Mr.Soumyadeep Deb (III year Civil) delivered a talk on "Construction of Roads with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion". The first year civil students who attended the talk were inspired by the presentation and learnt in detail the current road conditions and the alternate methods for good road construction.
On 16th February, 2017, Ms.Oshin Verma (III year ETC) delivered a talk on "Electronic Skin". The students belonging to School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering attended the talk and got educated with this advanced topic. The speaker passionately explained the topic using various video and picture presentations.
Ms.Jacyntha Thomas of III year B.Tech (Bio-Technology) has boldly delivered a talk on "Domestic Violence and its Laws" on 17th February 2017. She explained about the domestic violence against women through various real time incidents. This lecture educated the audience about the prevalence of abuse; encourage them to take action to end abuse.
Ms.Athira Gopakumar of III year Bio-tech delivered an energetic talk on 20th February 2017. Her topic of "Nothing to Lose" was really boosting. Her delivery of speech with various modulations was inspiring to the audience.
Mr.Tumula Mani Kota Rajasekhar delivered a talk on "Time Travel" on 21st February, 2017. The talk was so interesting and informative. The audience enjoyed his speech as he explained the technical concept behind the "Time Travel".
On 22nd February 2017, Mr.Mrunal Palsikar of III yr Bio-Medical Engineering delivered a talk on "Mesentery". The talk was so informative and new to the audience. He passionately described about the "Mesentery"- a newly discovered organ in human body-a fold of the peritoneum which attaches the stomach, small intestine, pancreas, spleen, and other organs to the posterior wall of the abdomen.
Mr.Reddy.B.Bhavan of I year CSE delivered a talk on "Gaming Technologies". The talk was informative to the audience.
Mr.S. Krishnaraj of I year Automobile under the "Lead Talks" series delivered a speech on "The Dark Half of the Internet". His extemporaneous and interactive speech about how the current generation is slowly getting addicted to Internet was really thought provoking.
