MATHEMATICS CLUB
OBJECTIVES
- To bring out and improve the hidden Mathematical talents of the students
- To promote enthusiasm and interest in Mathematics among the students
- To provide a platform for discussing new methods of learning and teaching Mathematics
ACTIVITIES
Mathematics Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted a workshop on 08.04.2024. Students participated enthusiastically in this workshop.
Mathematics Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted the “ MATH PIRATES” event on 22th February, 2022. Students participate in these competitive events related to mathematics with a lot of enthusiasm.
Mathematics Club has organized " MATHEMATICAL MODELLING" Workshop and maths logic based events on 16th September, 2019 from 9.00 A.M. to 2.45 P.M .Numerous student participants attended these events with interest and enthusiasm
Mathematics Club has conducted a SYMPOSIUM ON “MIRACLES IN MATHEMATICS” on 24th July, 2019. Numerous students participated in various mathematics based events and also learned about various techniques in the seminars delivered by subject experts
Mathematics club has conducted " Rubik’s Cube Event" for 1st & 2nd year B.E./B.Tech. students on 12th and 13th February, 2019. Students actively participated and learned the shortcuts in puzzle solving.
One day Workshop on Vedic Mathematics " was conducted on 27-08-2018. Numerous students participated in Vedic maths short cuts and the workshop was handled by Faculty of Mathematics department
Ganit Utsav, a mathematical symposium was conducted on 4th and 5th March, 2016. The symposium showcased the talent in the young minds and focused on the mathematical and analytical ideas of an individual.
