ACTIVITIES
AICTES SPICES INNOVATION Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted "Cadnovation '' on 21.03.2023. A Hands-on training experience in desiging electronics and electrical projects using Tinkercad software is given to participants in peer to peer learning mode.
AICTE SPICES Innovation Club and Microsoft Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted "Winovate" - An innovative approach towards windows customization battle on 09.03.2023. Registered student participants were active in this competition towards exploring innovative approaches of the problem statement.
AICTE SPICES Innovation Club and Hack SIST Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted an orientation cum peer to peer learning session "Innovational Transformation from Campus Life to Real World" on 09.03.2023. Student participants were educated about the challenges of professional life and the transformation in terms of innovating one's self and skill set as per the industry requirements.
Circuitry Innovation cluster - AICTE SPICES INNOVATION of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted "HACKATHON 23" on 17th February, 2023. !4 teams are screened at primary level and participated in hackathon for the problem statements related to "Safety management systems, Home Automation , Integrated Website development and Intruder detection" . The evaluation team declared two teams , namely "404 Found , Codex" as winners of the Hackathon after extensive examination of the presentations by the teams.
AICTE SPICES Innovation Club organized a workshop on Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence from 24.11.22-26.11.2022. M.Suruli Kannan, Director, Iviewsense Pvt ltd delivered hands-on training in big data analytics. He enlightened the students with lots of informative details regarding Microsoft power BI tools.
Innovation Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted a two-Day webinar on “Machine Learning” - A Peer to Peer Learning session on 5th and 6th May, 2022. Mr.Kalva Akhil Reddy, 3rd Year B.E CSE, addressed students in a very interactive manner and taught basic concepts of Machine Learning in a lucid manner with interesting example programs.
Innovation Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted “Road to Graphics Designing” session on 24th February, 2022. Mr. Abijesh Euphrine, Creative Director at Patterai – Loyola College, Chennai, addressed students in an interactive manner.
Innovation Club has conducted a workshop on Computer Vision on 11th and 12th February, 2020. The expert form AMZ company has delivered hands-on sessions and the student participants acquired exposure to this current update of the technology.
Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has organized an exposure visit to Prototype Lab of Technology Business Incubation Center of the institution on 27th November, 2019. Dr.Seshadri, expert from TBI has enlightened students about the key stages of product development and the visit to prototype lab served as an informative experience for information technology students.
The Innovation club has conducted "Industry 4.0" workshop on 21st August, 2019, Dr.Muthuraj from SIQSESS Technologies has trained the students.
Innovation Club has conducted "Machine Learning workshop" on 18th July, 2019. Industry professionals from Coding Block, New Delhi trained students in Machine learning concepts, numerous students participated in the hands-on sessions.
The Innovation club has conducted ZEST 2K19 on 7th and 8th March, 2019. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Praveen Das, Program Manager of Google Crowdsource, Google, India. The students felt contented and motivated with the address of Mr. Praveen Das and the Second Day was an interactive event conducted on Design Spirit.
Innovation club has organized a workshop on the topic of "UNBOX-ML" using Tensor flow on 31st January, 2019 and 1st February, 2019 in association with RDA Labs, Bangalore . The hands on session was very effective means to enrich the software skills of the students.
Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Innovation Cell organized, AICTE-MHRD IIC initiated "THE LEADERSHIP TALK SERIES" online session on 24th January, 2019,at 11.30 A. M. in central library auditorium. Dr. Anand Deshpande is the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems has addressed students on many interesting aspects related to "PLANNING CAREER".
Innovation club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has organized Techtalks on Innovation on 30th September, 2021 at 11.15 A.M. in International Research Centre Auditorium. The resource persons are Mr.Balamurugan, Co-founder of GUVI, Mr.Earnest Paul, IoT Engineer. Students ideas were given necessary drive to transform into Proof of Concepts.

Innovation club office bearers educated school children on the significance of "Innovative thinking in classroom" on 23.06.2023.
