ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CLUB
OBJECTIVES
- To train the students of our University to have the appropriate business insights & entrepreneurial skills
- To cultivate the entrepreneurial skills & values among the students of University, in order to develop knowledgeable & enterprising graduates
- To nurture the development of quality entrepreneurs who will be capable of competing in the local & global business industries
ACTIVITIES
Entrepreneurship development club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted "Business Plan'' workshop on 21.03.2023. Mr.Sriramulu Sekar, Startup Venture Consultant, Chennai delivered the session in an interactive manner.
One Day workshop titled “How to Start Business” was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Entrepreneurship Development Club for the students of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology on 27th July,2022. Key Note Address was delivered by Dr.C.Ramasamy Desai,Project Director,CR Business Solution,Trichy. Dr.C.Ramasamy spoke on prospective industries available to start business. It was very encouraging to the students.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell has conducted one workshop on 'How to Start Business" on 9th July, 2019. Shri. K.Elangovan,Managing Director, Akshara Business Services (P) Ltd. , Chennai has delivered information about the basics to success of doing business with wonderful success stories to students.
Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Cell for the students of our institution on 21/08/2018. Mr.S.K.Selvan B.E., Managing Director,CADD Centre Technical Services Private limited, Chennai was the chief guest of the programme.
The session-I is on “Startup Entrepreneurs- Challenges by Mr.S.K.Selvan B.E., Managing Director,CADD Centre Technical Services Private limited, Chennai. The session-II is on “Leading to Successful Life”by Mr.Ramasamy,Managing Director, M/s Spiraseal Gaskets Private Limited,Chennai.
The Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized a one day workshop on "ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN INDIA-CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES". Guests:Mr.V.F.Johnyesudhas, CEO, India Green, Chennai, Mr.Chandu Nair,Entrepreneur Advisor, Director, Menterra Venture,Chennai and Director, Chesapeake Investment Bank, New York. Dr.(Mrs.) B.Shanthi, Principal Scientist,Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA)
