OBJECTIVES

  • The Club focuses on extracting the hidden talent of the students in the field of Information Technology
  • To improve and enhance the technical skill set of the students by collaborating the club with leading Software Industries
  • To mould students towards industry ready expertise by organizing various technical activities

ACTIVITIES

Computer Science club has conducted a SEMINAR ON  "ALGORHYTMS" on 27.03.2024. This is a peer to peer learning session in which participants learned about different computing algorithms.

CSE Club  of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted " BEYOND THE CLOUD "  -  A peer to peer training session on 23rd February, 2023.  This session highlighted the advancements in computing and IT industry.

Computing Innovation Cluster - SDC of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted "Delineation" - The technical aspects of designing was conducted on 15th and 16th February, 2023. Student participants are trained in a peer to peer learning model , where the exposure related to designing was offered with dedicated sessions.

Technical Fads was a technical moment-making contest conducted

Technical Fads was a technical moment-making contest conducted on 27th July, 2022  at Dr. Remibai Jeppiar Auditorium. The participants were required to form pairs and fabricate witty memes on any technical topic of their choice. The event was a success with positive responses from the participants.

CSE club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology  conducted a webinar on 28th April, 2022 in the emerging technology 'Breaking into Web 3.0'. The webinar was presented by Mr. Kaushik Chandra, an IITian.

Logo Heist was a logo-making contest conducted on 28th January, 2022 in virtual platform. The event required participants to recreate logos of existing brands and submit them in advance. The results were announced by the guest Mr. Prem Tej Jakka, alumni of SIST and the Co-founder of Tech Arion.

CSE Club  has conducted a workshop on "Python for Data Sciences instead of Machine learning" on 12th March,2020. Mr.Nirmal Saravanan,  SOFTWARE DEVELOPER from  HEXAWARE  has trained the students on the theme of the workshop.

Computer Science Club has conducted "Ethical Hacking Workshop" for Second and Third year students of CSE on 7th February, 2019 in Digital Library. Mr.Raja Perumal, CEO of Integrated Resource Management Solutions (IRMS), Chennai and his team of resource persons trained the students.

Kidzilla is an event initiated by Sathyabama and adopted by the Mozilla Community throughout the world. Basically the event is all about teaching the government school children about web technologies.

Talentmeet 2018, a 5 day technical event was organized by the young minds of Computer Science Club of SDC  in our campus from 23rd to 27th January 2018. About 800 students participated and benefited out of this event which hosted 40+ technical sessions.
