STUDENT COUNSELING AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT CENTRE
This Centre has been constituted by the Institution to provide an environment with holistic approach for students to abbreviate their distress, enhance wellness, and unleash their fullest potentials and to be consistent in their aspirations and in achieving them with a plan of action. Counseling services are offered to Students and Staff by this centre in a confidential manner.
Services offered:
- Personal Counseling sessions for students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff
- Class room level orientation on self development aspects
- Guest lecturers / Group discussions / Workshops on Mental Health Management
- Training Programs on “Effective Teaching – Learning Process” for teaching faculty
- Highly trained therapists are available to provide advice and support to students with learning disabilities and help them to deal with their problems, Students are provided with Directive Counselling, Non-Directive Counselling and Eclectic Counselling based on their needs. Counsellors are appointed to support and mentor students with learning disabilities. Special care is taken to support students with learning disabilities like dyslexia, dysgraphia and autism
