OBJECTIVES
- To develop professional and leadership skills of the students
- To provide opportunity for students to address the needs and concerns of the community
- To provide opportunity for working in cooperation with associated Rotary clubs.
ACTIVITIES
Rotaract club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has conducted RYLA 2022 on 26th and 27th June, 2022 . This is an event directed to hone the leadership skills of the students and also to explore the inherent talents.
Rotaract club organized RYLA 2020 on 24th and 25th January, 2020. The inaugural function took place on 24th January, 2020. Rotarians delivered motivational talks to nurture students in various areas. Rtn.Sesha Sai spoke on 'Rural Entrepreneurship' and appreciated the students enthusiasm.
Rotaract Club has organized a talk on "CRISIS MANAGEMENT " by Mrs.Deepika Naveen on 6th September, 2019. Numerous students attended this talk and learned tactics of crisis management and exploring their strengths.
Rotaract club has organized "Installation cum Orientation" program on 16th July, 2019. Mrs.Indira and Mrs.Ishwarya of Rotaract Club of Temple City delivered motivational talk to the student participants.
Rotaract Club Organized ‘Knock Knock’ an " Awareness programme on Camp & Funding Opportunities " on 11th March, 2019. Mr.Parameswar Babu the Managing Director, Param Projects, Mentor, Incubator, Accelerator Chennai, Tamil Nadu delivered a talk to the students.
ROTARACT club has conducted a TRAFFIC AWARENESS PROGRAM by Mr. M.Kumar , Traffic Police Sholinganallur junction on 2nd March, 2019. Students are given insight about Traffic Rules and Responsibilities of Road safety.
Rotaract Club has organized "RYLA 2019" on 6th and 7th February, 2019 . Rotarians from Rotaract club of Madras Temple City has come and conducted activities based on personality development, motivational talks and team building for our Rotaract club students.
The Rotaract Club has organized a Blood Donation Camp (Drop of Life) in our Dental College on 7th February 2018. More than 700 students donated blood during the camp.
The Rotaract Club organized RYLA-E (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards-Explore) on 30 and 31st January 2018. Various Sessions for improving leadership qualities and finding leaders were conducted on both the days.
On 15th Feb, 2017, the Rotaract club organised a Blood donation Camp "A Drop of life V 3.0". Successfully 600 units of blood were collected and given to VHS and Lions Blood Bank.
Rotaract Club organized an Orientation Programme for the club students on 20th September 2016. Rtr.Lenin Mani addressed the enthusiastic students with his pragmatic talk on the topic of "Time Management and Leadership"
Vannavil is Rotaract assembly which was on 16th august, 2015 in Kamaraj memorial hall. The members of Rotaract club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology got an award for giving maximum registrations
Around 350+ participated in cycling and marathon and they were awarded with certificates in this Terryfox run on 23rd August, 2015
PHOENIX-2015 is a cultural event which took place on 30th Aug, 2015 in Tag auditorium. 20 members from our university participated in the events of off stage and on stage
We formed a human chain for spreading awareness on organ donation on 19th sept, 2015. 45 members of our university participated and were awarded with certificates
Rotaract club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has organized TEAMSTER - A workshop on Team building on 28th September, 2021 at 11.15 A.M. in International Research Centre Auditorium. The resource person Dr.D.Muruganandam, Founder and CEO of IIIDC, Chennai and his team delivered inspiring talk on Team building, Art of let living. The interaction was most effective and student participants were enlightened with the theme of the workshop.
