A bench mark 1Tonne capacity Biogas Plant was commissioned on 14th September 2022 in Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology and inaugurated by our Honorable Chancellor Dr.Mariazeena Johnson, President Dr.Marie Johnson , Vice Presidents Mr. J.Arul Selvan and Miss. Maria Catherine Jayapriya .The digester converts 1Tonne food waste into 80-100 cubic meters of biogas.This initiative of Sathyabama is taken towards addressing the Global Climate Change issues.
