  • S Score (Sathyabama Score) was revised as SScore version 2, to rate and assess the performance of the faculty in Academics, Research and Outreach. The top scorers will be appreciated with cash awards and certificates of appreciation
  • The Online Distance Learning programmes were introduced in Arts and Management Studies
  • Open electives among various departments / schools were introduced
  • Interdisciplinary Projects were encouraged among the students of various disciplines of Engineering Programmes in the pre-final year to meet the societal demands
  • Participated in Times Impact Rankings 2022 under Seven SDGs (SDG-1, 3, 10, 13, 14, 15, 17) and globally ranked among 1406 institutions. We were ranked in 87th position among the Universities worldwide in Life Below Water (SDG 14), 101-200 position among the Universities worldwide in Life on Land (SDG 15), 201-300 position among the Universities worldwide in Climate Action (SDG 13) 401-600 position among the Universities worldwide in No Poverty (SDG 1), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17) and 801-1000 position among the Universities worldwide in Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3). Sathyabama’s overall position is 601-800 among the World Universities according to the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, 2022
  • Readiness Report were submitted for ABET Accreditation from the departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering , and Biotechnology
  • The  institutional data was submitted for NIRF, ARIIA and QS Ranking 2022
  • The number of students and industry incubatees were increased
  • Initiated the NAAC sponsored programme on Quality Assessment and Accreditation on HEIs
  • Major curriculum revision 2023 was initiated considering the measures on NEP and SDG
     
2020-21
  • A New tool - S Score (Sathyabama Score) was introduced to rate and assess the performance of the faculty in Academics, Research and Outreach. The top twenty scorers were appreciated with cash awards and certificates of appreciation
  • The Design thinking course was introduced in all the Engineering programs in order to kinder and provide the avenue for the students to design, conceive and implement their innovative ideas by developing prototypes
  • Participated in Times Impact Rankings 2021 under Four SDGs and secured notable ranks with respect to all the four Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-1,10,13,17) for which we had applied. We were ranked in 201 – 300 positions among the Universities worldwide in reducing inequalities (SDG 10), climate action (SDG 13) and Partnership for goals (SDG 17).  The Institution has been ranked in 301-400 position for SDG01 – No Poverty, recognizing its contribution towards eradicating poverty.   • Initiated Faculty Development Programs in Artificial Intelligence, AR &VR, UHV, and Design Thinking for all the faculties with the support of Industries and External Experts. Several awareness programs on NEP 2020 were organized for the benefit of our own faculty and other academic fraternity at large
  • Several orientation programs were conducted for the faculty and Students towards inculcating Digital tools for teaching, learning, and Assessments. Apart from organizing technical events, many webinars were conducted for healthy living, mental wellness, yoga, Gender sensitivity, food, nutrition etc

  • Curriculum revision was made for all the engineering programmes as per AICTE model curriculum
  • UGC NSQF supported skill development, vocational programmes and new specialized programmes on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Data Science were introduced
  • Industry internship is made mandatory for all the programs
  • Introduced interdisciplinary mini projects
  • Faculty participation in induction programme on Universal Human Values organized by AICTE was encouraged
  • Faculty Development Programs were organized for e-content generation in institutional LMS platforms, youtube, and other MOOC platforms
  • Capability Enhancement Programmes for the non-teaching staff were organized
  • Organised IPR sensitization workshop for students and faculties
  • Preparations for NBA accreditation for the UG programmes - B.E CSE, EEE, Mechanical, ECE and Biotechnology were started

  • Redesigning of the curriculum was proposed for all engineering, arts, science and management programs
  • Orientation programs were organized to practice outcome-based education effectively
  • Support was given to the departments to calculate Course Outcome (CO) attainment and Program Outcome (PO) attainment
  • Conducted reviews with the departments in setting up the target of the CO-PO attainment level
  • Initiations were taken towards applying funded student and faculty exchange programs with our partnering institutions through ERASMUS Plus, TWAS, Mevlana exchange programs
  • Encouraged the departments to conduct more value-added programs in cutting edge technologies
  • Motivations were given to the students and faculty to participate in Unnat Bharat Abhiyan activities of the institution through technological interventions in the adopted villages
  • Proposed the Board of Management to allot more seed fund to facilitate for developing innovative products and research
