Dr. Radhika S is currently Professor and Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. She completed her masters in Power Electronics from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in 2002 by securing third rank and joined Sathyabama as lecture in June 2006. She completed her Ph.D with research title “Design of Adaptive Filtering Algorithms for Acoustic Echo Cancellation Application in 2017. She is Life member of ISTE and IAENG. She is also an active Member of IEEE and APSIPA.

She is currently reviewer of IEEE Access, IEEE Signal processing Magazine, , IEEE Signal processing letters, IEEE Transactions on signal processing, Journal of Interconnection Networks Journal and technical committee member and session chair for several international conferences. She has also delivered several guest talks in latest trends in various institutions.

- Received Certificate of Appreciation for publishing paper in High Impact Factor Journal during academic years 2021-22, 2020-21 and 2015-16 from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai
- 5% topper in NPTEL online exam for the courses “Analog Communication” conducted by IIT Kharagpur, 2017, “Introduction to IoT” conducted by IIT Kharagpur,2018 and “Digital circuits ” conducted by IIT Kanpur,2019.
- Received Best paper award in “2014 IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Computing Research (ICCIC)”.,Coimbatore, India.
- She is actively involved in several research activities. Currently six research scholars are pursuing research under her guidance in the areas of Deep Learning Neural Networks, underwater acoustics, converter design for electric vehicles, genomic signal processing.
- Her areas of research include Wireless sensor networks, autonomous vehicles, Adaptive signal processing, system identification, echo cancellation and sparse signal processing.
