Hack SIST Club
Objectives:
1. Collaborative effort to learn together about hacking
2. Co-ordination with similar clubs to provide exposure about the domain to students
Activities:
Hack SIST Club of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted "Tech Tonic" coding competition on 20.03.2023. Students participated enthusiastically and competed presenting theiir coding skills.
Hack SIST has organized a webinar on Deep learning for Computer Vision by Mr.A.Rakesh, AI Engineer from Genesys on 24th March, 2022 at 5.00 P.M. Students participated with more enthusiasm in an interactive manner.
Hack SIST club has conducted a hands-on training session on “Information Security” on 9th January, 2023. Mr.Abhisheik .M from Devesecops has shared learning about how to prevent types of attacks, organizations and individuals implement various information security measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and two-factor authentication. Student participants had an value added training on vulnerabilities testing.
Hack SIST Club conducted a hands-on training session on “Building your First DAPP on Shardeum” on 27ᵗʰ January 2023. Mr. Prayasu and Mr. Shaan from Shardeum talked about web3, Use cases of blockchain-NFTS, and how smart contracts work(hands-on). Students felt amazing to experience "how blockchain technology is changing the things around in a decentralized manner.
